10 Nov How are you measuring your progress and results in your business?
Setting up a high level dashboard to track the key numbers in your business can be a really simple, yet hugely effective way to improve your results.
The knack comes in identifying the ‘right’ numbers to track.
Often business owners focus just on the headline financials such as turnover and expenses, and whilst these are essential to track, there will be other things to measure that drive the overall performance.
Do you know the key activities that drive your results? Are you measuring them?
After all, what gets measured, gets managed!
In other words, if you are focused on achieving a specific measure, it’s highly likely that you will do the work to hit it.
Just look at all those people who are using smart watches to track their activity each day. We all know someone who will be walking around the house late at night to hit their 10,000 steps!
But, if you don’t have the ‘right’ measures, you’ll be chasing your tail and wondering why you’re still not hitting your goals.
Achieving 10,000 steps each day is great but, if you’re trying to lose weight, tracking what you eat may be a better measure.
If you want to some help in identifying the ‘right’ measures in your business, to help accelerate your results, book in a call with me and I’ll help you to get started.
