When you’re running a business, often friends and family simply don’t get it.

Though well-meaning, their advice can come from a place of wanting to keep you safe and protect you, or occasionally there may even be some jealously, as you’ve done something they’ve always wanted to do.

Unless they’ve already experienced running a business, it can be challenging to put themself in your shoes and offer some useful advice.

It’s why you seriously need to think about who you surround yourself with and have in your network as a business owner.

Surround yourself with the negative ‘naysayer’s, and you’ll soon start doubting yourself.

Surround yourself with the uplifting, problem solving gang, and you’ll soon start to achieve your goals, and stretch them further.

It’s one of the reasons I love working with small groups of business owners. They don’t just get the benefit of my experience but also the others in the room.
