This time of year can bring out the gardener in all of us and, although I love watching a bit of Gardeners World, I’m very much a dabbler when it comes to gardening.

Yet even I realise that I’m not going to plant seeds today and then wake up tomorrow to a beautiful rose bush or some carrots ready for eating.

But somehow, lots of business owners expect these quick results in their business.

Try something new today, then if you don’t see the results quickly, you’ll abandon that strategy and try something else.

The thing is though – like gardening, the work you’re doing today is going to give you the results in around six months time.

Likewise, the results you’re getting today is down to what you were doing six months ago.

So, if you’re not happy with your results today, it’s time to change the strategies so that you can reap the results in six months time.
