03 Mar How to get perspective back on your business
Last week was half-term for my two daughters so we headed off to North Wales for a few days.
One of the days we headed up the Orme, arriving at the summit to amazing views, 200m above sea level.
When you’re up at that height looking down, you get a very different perspective on Llandudno below than when you are in the middle of town.
Everything suddenly seems clearer and you spot things you couldn’t see before.
It’s a similar thing in your business – when you’re stuck in the middle of the day-to-day busyness, it can be difficult to get that overall perspective and identify the simple things you can do, to make a big difference.
Lots of business owners are trying to work out how to clear a to-do list for example, by doing things more quickly or trying to find extra time in the day.
That can be all well and good – but what if you don’t have the ‘right’ things on your list in the first place?
That takes some time out of your business to think, clear your head and get perspective, and make sure you have the right things on your to-do list!
It’s why the first part of my 12-week Business Growth Masterplan focuses on just that – getting clear on what you want from your business, then figuring out the easiest steps you can take to achieve it.
Before jumping into the strategies you need to deliver on it.
If you feel the time is right to take a step back and get perspective on your business, you can find out more about the upcoming 12-week business coaching programme, or book in a time to have a chat and see if this is right for you.
