How to overcome procrastination in your business and get stuff done

I know this is a super busy time of year for you, as you try and get on top of all the work so that you can take a well deserved break over Christmas.

It can also be a time for reflection, as you look back on what you’ve achieved this past year, and possibly, what you haven’t achieved.

If you’re feeling frustrated at something you haven’t achieved this year, then is it because you’ve been procrastinating i.e. putting it off and avoiding doing it?

One of the biggest challenges lots of business owners face in moving forward is getting stuck in procrastination.

Procrastination usually comes down to fear – fear of getting it wrong, fear of failure, fear of judgement – ‘what will people think of me?’

One of the first personal development books I read, many years ago, was ‘Feel the fear and do it anyway’ by Susan Jeffers.

Just the title  ‘Feel the fear and do it anyway’ can be helpful, without reading the book, but if you want to know my 5 step process to move out of procrastination, please have a watch of my latest video here.

Behind the scenes, this video was definitely a practical lesson in getting over procrastination for me.

Back in the Summer, I agreed to do a series of 4 short videos – the first 3 were done, no problem, but for some reason I kept putting off the final 4th one.

I didn’t know which topic to talk about, I didn’t have time, my hair needed doing, I couldn’t be bothered to put on make up, there was too much background noise etc. etc.

I was seriously so close to putting off doing this video again, but honestly, following the steps I give you, I got it done!

So, what are you putting off that you need to get done? Watch the short video and follow the steps I give you to get it done.
