The challenge of a small business owner wearing so many hats

Most small business owners I meet have a challenge that can be summed up as:

They are great at what they do, but struggle with some aspects of running a small business

Are you worried that you’re trying to be a ‘jack of all trades’ and end up becoming a master of none?

You started your business because you are great at what you do and you love doing it. However, you don’t necessarily love some of the things you’ve found you now need to do in your business.

You may be feeling that more of your time is being spent on the ‘other’ stuff, like marketing, IT, bookkeeping, admin etc. and it’s draining your energy.

You just want to do the stuff you love!

By putting in strategies to deal with all the ‘other’ business stuff you need to do, and having a clear framework to follow, you can definitely make your life feel easier as a business owner.

For example:

  • The amazing copywriter who is under-charging and isn’t sure how to increase their prices and still grow their client base
  • The fabulous nutritionist who can help so many people improve their health, but doesn’t have an effective marketing strategy to reach their target clients
  • The talented financial advisor who is working far too many hours each week, and catching up with admin on their evenings and weekends
  • The wonderful marketing guru who doesn’t have a handle on their key numbers and isn’t sure if they can afford to hire someone
  • The health & safety expert who is so busy delivering training and serving clients, that they never have the time to stop and think, and develop a plan to get them out of this overwhelm and over-work

These are all examples of business owners who have gone through my 12-week business coaching programme, where they work through a clear framework, are supported by a small group of other business owners who ‘get it’, and are held accountable to take action.

You don’t know what you don’t know, and we all need help with aspects of running of a small business to avoid becoming the ‘jack of all trades and master of none’.

In three group days together, across 12 weeks, I take a small group through the 6 core modules every business owner needs in place. It’s kind of like a ‘Business101’ for small business owners.

Plus, you are supported over the 12 weeks with group calls and access to me as your business coach.
