As we enter the second quarter of 2026, and Spring has fully arrived, now is a great time to undertake a ‘Spring clean’ in your business.

The four areas I’d recommend you focus on cleaning up and sorting out in your business are:

  1. Finances – are you up to date with your key numbers and tracking them? Take some time to review your incomings and outgoings, and follow up any outstanding invoices.
  2. Marketing – is it time follow up with previous clients and leads? Make some calls, send some messages, and check back in.
  3. Processes – where can you simplify something or make it easier? Start with whatever is annoying you the most right now, as this often indicates a lack of process.
  4. People – where could you do with some help in your business? Either to free up your time, or to buy in some expertise?

Regular reviews and improvements in your business are essential to help your business grow, and to take away some of the stress you feel as a business owner.
