18 Dec What does ‘good enough’ look like in your business?
One of the sayings I’m known for repeating with my clients is:
“Aim for progress, not perfection”
You see, most business owners are holding themselves, and their business back by seeking perfection.
You keep wanting to ‘tweak’ things and make improvements, but never actually get round to releasing it to your customers.
Or, you’re avoiding doing certain aspects of your business, like sales or putting in processes, because you don’t feel skilled enough.
Where are you holding off releasing something, or doing something, because you don’t feel that ‘it’ or ‘you’ are perfect?
What if, instead of aiming for perfection, you aimed to make progress instead?
Making a start and practicing being ‘good enough’ will move you towards your goals far quicker than procrastinating in perfectionism!
What does ‘good enough’ look like in your business?
This is never about delivering sloppy or sub-standard work, but it is about knowing when to stop tinkering as it’s adding no further value to your customer.
Or, when to start practicing those skills you need to develop, like selling, as practicing is the best way to learn.
