19 Jul If you’re having a bad day, this could be what your business needs…
At the weekend I ran a Park Run. Although I’m a regular runner, I run slowly, and am usually chatting to a friend on the phone or listening to a podcast, to take my mind off the fact that I am running!
Running the Park Run was a different experience for me, running in a large group and actual proper timings and everything!
The volunteers who make this happen all over the country, every Saturday, are simply amazing. With their support and encouragement all the way around, I even managed a personal best time for a 5k.
I was on a complete high afterward, feeling super awesome mainly thanks to the constant words of encouragement you get on the way round.
It made me realise how important a little bit of praise is to all of us to keep us motivated, especially when you’re struggling.
After all, running your own business can feel pretty lonely at times. Every buck seems to stop with you and you’re expected to know all the answers.
You can feel isolated and alone.
Sometimes, when times are difficult or you just don’t know which way to go, having a support network is invaluable. Someone to cheer you on, say ‘well done you’ve done a great job today’, and ‘keep going, you can do this’ when things aren’t going as you want.
It’s one of the many benefits from my 12-week group business coaching programme – working alongside like-minded peers who get ‘it’ and support you.
With the next course starting in the Autumn, could you benefit from not only a supportive environment to cheer you on, but training, coaching and accountability to take your business to the next level?
Find out more about the group business coaching or book a call with me to see if I can help your business.
Have a great week and, if no-one’s told you lately, you’re doing an amazing job!
