29 Mar Why should you work with a business coach?
I’m often asked this question: Why should I work with a business coach?
In case you’ve been wondering this, I’ve set out the top 4 reasons below
Making the time to work ON your business
By committing to working with a business coach and investing in this, you are essentially committing to work on your business, in a structured, focused, and supported way. A business coach will work with you to set your goals, develop a plan to achieve these and commit to timescales.
Accountability
Once the initial plan and actions are defined, your business coach will hold you accountable to achieving them, ensuring timescales are met and action is taken, and working through any challenges and obstacles that may have held you back before.
Support & Challenge
Depending on the situation and your needs, your coach will support you through difficult and stressful situations but also challenge you to move beyond them and your own beliefs and mindset.
Strategies
Your business coach will have a range of tools, techniques and strategies to teach you, depending on your needs. This may be how to delegate, map processes and implement systems, time management techniques, develop a high-performing team, and many more.
Of course, each business coach will have their own style and their own specialties, so it’s worth thinking about what you want to achieve from working with a business coach, and where you need the most help.
When you’re ready to explore options you can always use Google but I would strongly suggest you ask for recommendations or go with someone with who you’re already connected to and who resonates with you.
It’s important you feel comfortable with your business coach and feel they ‘get’ you and your situation.
Once you’ve narrowed it down, most coaches will offer a complimentary strategy call or similar – basically, sometimes for you to have a quick conversation and ask any questions before you commit to a business coaching programme.
You can book one with me for example, using this link.
Any questions still about why you should use a business coach or how it works – drop me a message.
